Why a bonus project?
Because of the generosity so many of you demonstrated toward raising funds for The Seating Project, the door has opened for a bonus project! An extra $5,226 was donated beyond what was needed for new chairs, so now we are allocating the additional funds to replace the gym floor mats! The mats will cost $15,000. Our goal is to raise an additional $9,774 to complete this project.
Why new floor mats?
These new mats will significantly enhance safety by preventing slips and falls, while also protecting the gym floors. The worn-down condition of the old mats makes tripping more likely and is cumbersome to maintain. The new mats can be easily pieced together, rolled out, and stored, improving both safety and time efficiency. Every improvement made to camp is an improvement made in the lives of campers, so help us help campers! Donations of any amount will go to great lengths in the project.
